Chris holds two degrees from the University of Durham and rejoined DJMS in November 2024, having previously been a director of another firm. He is a qualified duty solicitor with over twenty years of experience representing clients in courts and police stations regarding the most serious allegations.

Chris attends Magistrates’ Courts and Police Stations daily, representing clients who are detained in custody and specialises in representing clients who face allegations of Murder, Sexual Offences, non-accidental injury to children, including ‘shaken baby’ and serious crimes, as well as organised crime groups (OCGS).  

Chris has vast experience in defending computer-related offences and has represented clients in some of the most complex cases of computer offences involving ‘hacking’ and ‘denial of service’ with evidence from international and national law enforcement agencies.

On a daily basis, Chris also deals with road traffic offences, theft, and assault.
