Joanne qualified in 2000, having completed her degree and training contract in Leicester. She began employment with DJMS in 2010 before becoming a director in 2012.
Joanne began her employment at DJMS based in the Sunderland office before taking over supervision of the South Shields office where she is currently based.
Joanne is a qualified duty Solicitor and Youth Court specialist. She is also qualified to handle with cases involving vulnerable victims and witnesses. Joanne deals with all aspects of Magistrates and Police Station representation from first hearing to sentence.
She has also conducted indictable only and sexual offences trials in the Youth Court.
