Lucy initially joined the firm in 2018. Having obtained her Law Degree and LPC Qualification before joining the firm, Lucy completed the final stages of her Criminology Masters during the first few months of her employment with DJMS Solicitors. Thereafter, Lucy completed her training contract with the firm and has remained part of the team since then.

Lucy then qualified as a Police Station Representative and Solicitor in 2020, later obtaining her Duty Solicitor Qualification in 2022.

Before qualifying, Lucy completed a lot of work alongside and as part of the Crown Court department, assisting solicitors and counsel with a number of cases of varying severity.

Lucy currently spends much of her time representing clients, mainly in the Durham area, across both Magistrates Courts and Police Stations, working out of our Consett office.
