Rebecca Highton
Criminal and Prison Law Solicitor
Rebecca joined DJMS in August 2022.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2020, obtaining a First-Class degree through Northumbria University before completing the LPC.
Rebecca practices locally and nationally in Magistrates' Courts and attends police station interviews to represent clients.
Since joining DJMS, Rebecca has obtained her duty qualification and is a member of the Magistrates' Court and the Police Station Duty solicitor schemes.
In addition to practising criminal law, Rebecca has been a prison law solicitor, representing clients in parole reviews, adjudications, and appeals since 2018. She regularly attends hearings for clients in prisons nationwide and has a busy practice.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys hiking and travelling.
