We understand how stressful it can be when faced with a motor offence. We aim to provide transparent, fixed-fee pricing for expert legal advice and Court representation by specialist solicitors.
Most of our clients prefer the certainty of a fixed fee. The cost of our services depends on several factors, including:
- The nature of the charge(s)
- The Court location
- Sentencing guidelines
- Whether you intend to plead guilty or not guilty
- The anticipated length of the hearing
- The level of solicitor or advocate handling your case
Our fees are subject to VAT, currently set at 20% by the UK government.

Legal Aid
If you are on a low income, let us know, and we will assess your eligibility for Legal Aid. Please note that for some road traffic offences, Legal Aid may be refused unless the case involves complexities.
Additional Costs (Disbursements)
Additional disbursements, such as expert witness reports and barristers' fees, may be necessary in more complex cases. We will always inform you of these costs before incurring them.
Timescales
- Same-day appointments via Microsoft Teams or phone are available for urgent legal advice.
- Full case advice depends on when prosecution papers are received. The Crown Prosecution Service aims to provide these 5 days before the first hearing.
- Court hearing scheduling depends on the Court’s availability and prioritisation of cases.
Key Stages of Your Case (Guilty Plea)
We take a tailored, client-focused approach to every case. If you are entering a guilty plea and have a confirmed Court date, here’s what you can expect:
- Initial consultation – Discuss your case and provide instructions.
- Case review – Obtain and analyse prosecution disclosure and other relevant information.
- Legal advice – Provide guidance on plea options, mitigation, and sentencing.
- Court preparation – Explain Court procedures and sentencing options and answer any queries.
- Court representation – A specialist solicitor will represent you, meeting you before your hearing and staying at Court as required (typically between 1 hour and a full day).
- Outcome report – Receive a written summary of the outcome and initial appeal advice.
